And now for something out of left field. Created around the time Saving Private Ryan was released, and perhaps even more resonant these days...? From a photograph, soldier on the beach after the battle of Midway. Pencil on sketchbook paper.

*faint* sorry this just totally took my breath away... i love the soft lines of this but the harsh reality.. its really like seein something when ur just coming back to earth after u switch off to everything coz ur just so intent on the kill... its the most terrifying and exhilerating feeling and that is exactly the way things look.. sharp but fuzzy.... sorry its just struck a chord inme lol i love it so much.total
