Hello there, I am starting an photography art board standard at school and we need to show our influences and images that relate to the ones we pick. Would you allow me to put this piece in my folder to show artistic influences and possible poses and/or compositions?
I want her hair. Seriously, I do. I don't know if you take critiques, particularly from someone who can't draw worth a penny, but she has no ear hole (Or ear folds). Seeing as how you were sick and suffering from insomnia... never mind!
It really depends... but I like to draw by hand (since I have no tablet, only a mouse) with pencil and paper, then scan in and color. This was drawn with a photo as reference, then scanned, and painted in Photoshop.
That's a gorgeous coloring jpb on her face- if you could get a really luscious gleam on the apple- like a candy apple or something, and touch up her hair, this would be perfect!
Like I say though, the face and the line work are very good!
You have just earned yourself an O.D.D.(^oibyrd's daily devs) feature!! congrats!!!
O.D.D.S are to honor the sometimes overlooked artists of dA that I personally think deserve some exposure and also, to introduce the more popular artists to the new/overlooked deviants. I prefer to showcase ALL artwork that I love (and that includes popular artists with a fair amount of traffic to their work) in order to create a non-biased feature of the talent on dA. *PLZ DO KEEP IN MIND - some of the features are quite popular and obviously don't need extra help - however - I enjoy posting them because they inspire other artists. Please click the link below to see your work featured and to view other featured artists . If you prefer not to be a featured artist, just send me a note and I will remove you from the list. Cheers! Sandi xoxo

Oh it's just not *fair*--even when you're sick you rock these awesome pics. Us mere mortals usually just sleep. I never get tired of seeing your stuff, because your style's incredibly veratile--something flat-coloured will be as striking as something equally playful and at same time kinda moody like this. I like the colouring and the shading but what really makes this one work is the expression. C'est magnifique. VERY well done!
